Our First Distinguished Merit!!

To achieve the title of DM, a female must produce 5 grand champions or premiers and a male must produce 15.

Taffy achieved her most recent title of Distinquished Merit on 12/5/03 at the New Berlin, IL cat show. Not just one, but two of her offpring granded the same day and gave her a total of 6 grand champion or premier offspring. 

Taffy is a beautiful girl that produced almost all show cats with every litter. The DM achievement for her was very difficult because she only produced one kitten per litter, and on a couple of rare occasions 2. She was spayed in May of 2003, and earned her own Grand Premier Title in September, 2003. 

She is almost the perfect example of a birman. Perfect markings, great body, nice broad head with great eye set and size and great ear set and size, very strong chin and good roman nose for the perfect profile - Not much more you could ask for! She has been a great asset to my breeding program, and she will always be cherished and remembered. She is currently looking for a home to retire in with her mother.
