Lilacs This page is dedicated to the spectacular lilacs that have been produced here at Russpurrz in memory of our beloveds - Ty and Hope. We are quite proud of all of them. Although the 3 born to Sassafras were/are Type B blood type, the remainder should be A blood type as my females currently have no B blood known in their pedigrees.
CFA GRC Russpurrz Tyrian Purple Sire: GRC Biramor St. Louis Blue of Russpurrz Dam: Carabir Sassafras of Russpurrz "Ty" was our first famous lilac.
Many judges named him the BEST LILAC BIRMAN they have ever seen, and we
agree. Sadly, he was injured in a house breakin and suffered irreparable
kidney damage and crossed the rainbow bridge in August, 1998. See Ty's
page for more about his achievements.
CH Russpurrz Valentepurpl Sire: GRC Biramor St. Louis Blue of Russpurrz Dam: Carabir Sassafras of Russpurrz "Herbie" named for the Love Bug
that he is. A sweet, beautiful male.
CFA CH Russpurrz Valentine's Hope (better picture soon to come) "Hope" is Herbie's brother and all
are the same breeding. Sadly, Hope crossed the rainbow bridge after we
had a house fire from an injury sustained during the fire. He was a very
sweet and beautiful boy.
Russpurrz Violet Viking
Sire: GRC Biramor St. Louis Blue of Russpurrz Dam: CH Russpurrz Taffy "Viking" is 4 mos. old in the
picture. He is going through an awkward stage and we are waiting to see
if he comes out of it :-)! He will be starting his show career soon, and
may be staying here as a future stud.
Russpurrz lilac point male - 3 mos. old Sire: GRC Biramor St. Louis Blue of Russpurrz Dam: CH Russpurrz Sophisticated Lady This little guy (also pictured on
the right in the picture above) is probably one of the best lilacs produced
here so far and unfortunately will be going to a pet home very soon. His
picture is here to show the wonderful TYPE that is being produced here
in our lilacs. This little boy has a wonderful head and body, but also
has a kinked tail - which I curse everyday!
CH RUSSPURRZ XELE-DE OF BITAHEAVEN
"Xele" has joined James and Paula Watson of Bitaheaven Birmans in Arkansas. They are doing a fabulous job at showing her off. At her first show with them in Little Rock, Xele got 5 out of 6 finals and then in Shreveport, LA, she received 3 AB finals. A big thanks to James & Paula for showing her off and loving her so well! She can now be seen at shows looking for those Grand Points.
CH RUSSPURRZ XTRAVAGANCE OF XANADU
"Tupper" has joined Susan Gibson and Mellie in Canada to become a future stud boy. He is a beautiful boy that is one of the best I've produced yet. Hopefully, we will get a better picture soon. Watch for him on the NE Coast and in and around Nova Scotia, Canada. Thanks to Susan for giving him a great home and taking the responsibility of showing him off! He will soon be at shows earning those Grand Points! Page last updated 2/13/01.
